Who We Are
Lynn N. Buchholz, MBA, CFP® founded Buchholz Financial with the mission to provide clients with competent, objective financial advice. Lynn is a Certified Financial Planner™ and an Adjunct Professor.
Lynn graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Electrical Engineering. She earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Her background includes work experience at Merrill Lynch in New York, IBM, Tektronix and Hughes Aircraft.
Lynn began her teaching career as an Adjunct Professor at National University, teaching classes in Portfolio Analysis and Investments to MBA students. She has written numerous educational articles about investing. After becoming a CFP® in 2006, Lynn taught Fundamentals of Insurance and Fundamentals of Investments to CFP® candidates at the Board-Certified program at San Diego State University. Lynn spoke about the problems of “under-insurance” on the KPBS San Diego radio program “These Days” and has been a contributing writer in the Union Tribune on the same subject.
